I happened upon this Daily Donut - a donut & smoothies place - while driving thru town in early July of this year (2011). The mixed berrie smoothie I tried here is the best smoothie I've ever had anywhere. Extremely fresh ingredients used and just the exact right amount of sugar - not too sweet and not too light. Very refreshing - these smoothies are different than that of most other smoothie chains I've tried. The donuts were pretty tasty too - nothing fancy or out of the ordinary - and thankfully not too heavy with oil or dough or overly sweet. The owner and attendant staff - a cheerful energetic asian lady - was very friendly and personable. I sat and chatted a little bit and the lady knows her stuff. She's been in the snack & eatery biz for well over a decade. I give this no-frills place very high marks for a great product and great service. I will definitely try to stop by again if I'm in the So. Cal. area and probably try the sushi place next door.
